INP3012 – EVB-A Development Board for Talaria TWO™ INP1012 Module

EVB-A Development Boards (INP3010/INP3011/INP3012/INP3013) include everything needed for evaluating the Talaria TWO™ module's performance and capabilities. The boards can also be used to complete initial system integration and development. Software binaries and programming tools for the EVB-A boards are available for free download on the InnoPhase IoT website. The software binaries include an IPERF3 application for throughput testing and a Multi-Purpose Demonstration application for current measurements across various scenarios for Wi-Fi® idle connected, cloud messaging, and other power-saving options.

The various antenna options for the Talaria TWO module family are listed below:

  • INP3010 – includes INP1010 module with PCB Antenna (PIFA)
  • INP3011 – includes INP1011 module with U.FL Antenna Connector
  • INP3012 – includes INP1012 module with RF Pad
  • INP3013 – includes INP1013 module with Ceramic Chip Antenna

How to get started:

  • Purchase an INP3012 evaluation board
  • Download evaluation software from the InnoPhase IoT website to test connectivity and current consumption in various test modes: https://innophaseiot.com/talaria-two-modules#eval-software
  • Register on the InnoPhase IoT Customer Portal for access to the SDK for further evaluation and product development: https://innophaseiot.com/portal/customer-registration/

  • Integrated pressure/humidity, temperature, and light sensors for prototyping; other sensor connection possible through available I2C or SPI ports
  • Pre-compiled software binaries for quick evaluation of the module's key performance specifications
  • USB connectivity for power, loading programs into RAM, storing programs in embedded Flash memory and terminal message printout
  • Connection to available GPIO through central header pins or through Arduino header pins at the board edge
  • Power management included for sourcing from a USB, external Arduino board, or optional battery connection
  • Available port for measuring module current consumption
  • Kit contents: EVB-A board, USB cable, board standoffs, 2x AA battery holder with wired connector
  • External antenna included for INP3011 and INP3012 kits
