UMS has developed a packaged monolithic times two multiplier (x2) which integrates input and output buffer.  The output frequency from 35 to 43GHz, combined with an output power of 8dBm make of this circuit a very versatile multiplier for telecommunication and specifically for E-band system.  Moreover it is proposed in standard surface mount package and integrates ESD protection.  The overall power supply is of +5V/50mA.  It is developed on a robust 0.15µm gate length pHEMT process, and will be available both as a bare die, and in a standard surface mount 24 leads QFN4x5, compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) European Union directive 2002/95/EC.
