RF Standard Cable Assembly
An RF Standard Cable Assembly can be used either in an engineering/design lab, in a manufacturing operation, or (as in most cases) in a true field application to interconnect working RF systems and RF assemblies. In their lifetime, these RF Standard Cable Assemblies may be connected and reconnected many times over, so the RF connectors at either end must be durable. They need to be fairly low-loss, and maintain fairly consistent performance over aging and temperature changes. In order to be deployed successfully in the field, these cable assemblies (and their connectors) must provide excellent electrical performance, high mechanical endurance, and excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. Specific attributes which are important in selecting the right RF Standard Cable Assembly for your application include: Type (e.g., Flexible, Semi-Flexible, Semi-Rigid); Gender Combination (Male-to-Male, Female-to-Female, or Male-to-Female); Length (inches); Cable Diameter (inches); and Frequency Range (GHz). Richardson RFPD provides RF Standard Cable Assemblies from leading manufacturers.
