Ducati Energy
Ducati Energia S.p.A. is a Bologna-based industrial group with roots in the Ducati brothers’ enterprise founded in 1926, and it became the modern Ducati Energia entity in 1985 through the merger of Ducati Elettrotecnica with Zanussi Elettromeccanica (Generators Division). Today it designs and manufactures electrical and electronic components and systems for energy, mobility, and transport/infrastructure, with a strong focus on capacitors and power-quality solutions. Its capacitor portfolio supports a wide range of industrial applications including power converters, DC-link and filtering, railway inverters and traction systems, UPS, welding, harmonic filtering, induction heating, renewable energy conversion (solar PV and wind inverters), and energy storage. In parallel, Ducati Energia develops and supplies power factor correction (PFC) systems across the voltage spectrum: low-voltage solutions (including automatic PFC and “real-time” PFC, plus active filters for harmonic compensation) as well as medium- and high-voltage PFC solutions based on capacitor banks / filtering systems designed to improve power factor and reduce harmonics in larger electrical networks)
