Anaren was founded in 1967 to focus on new passive RF technologies, including circuit-etched manufacturing. Initially developed for space and defense applications, Anaren introduced a new surface mount coupler that they named the Xinger™ in 1995. This new technology reduced the need for customers to use expensive PCB materials and extracted the mission critical RF functions into 100% tested components, enabled wireless infrastructure deployments from analog to digital, and ultimately to 3G, 4G/LTE and 5G.
